My Five Year Plans

I haven't thought this out well.. but all i wanna do for the next five years is not to buy things.. and by things i mean like stuff, and by stuff i mean Techs, Gadgets..

I already have lots of it.. only that it's old.. people have some serious problems when it comes to new things.. but why wouldn't they? i mean new things are always better, more expensive.. new features.. stuff like that.. but the thing is.. even after you get that new stuff.. in a couple of years.. the new stuff will be old stuff.. and the new new stuff would be the next old stuff.. and i don't think that this cycle will ever end..

Cause.. for years.. i don't think i regretted things that i've wanted so much but never had the chance to buy.. but i do regret buying those things that i wanted so much.. cause they will always be new ones in a couple of years or months..

So for the next five years.. i'm gonna try and control my urge to buy new things and just be thankful for the things that i do have and finally use it instead of leaving them there like dust..

And that's 2016 till i'll would be able to buy new stuff.. and the date today is 13 January 2011.. if i am successful.. just imagine the new things that would be coming in that year.. and i will not regret for not buying stuff through 2011-2016.. that is if i'm successful on keeping my urges to myself..

And it would not only benefit me in terms of regrets.. but also financially.. i also have this plan to have 100K by the age of 25.. let's see if i'm right.. 2016-1991 = 25.. oh crap.. it fits just right in.. right now.. i'm about 1/5 from the total amount i'm hitting.. but i'm pretty sure i'll be able to get in before i'm 20.. damn i'm gonna be 20 in 7 more months.. what the hell.. i'm not an adolescent anymore..

But look on the bright side.. i would actually be able to see the iPhone 10.. if it ever comes out..

and i don't know.. maybe the first 1 Gigapixel DSLR Camera.. or maybe an unlimited Hard disk..

Or even better would probably be..

A 3D video calling.. or Holograms are always nice..and fully wireless internet connection.. so where ever you go you will always have fast internet services.. instead of getting crappy GPRS and EDGE connection which is always a bummer..

And i've read this in an article and it's pretty amazing i guess... which is about the Xbox 360 and it's Kinect which allows user to use motion recognition as a future to gaming controls.. instead of using controllers.. we would actually be able to wave our hands in the air and get the feeling like we're holding our swords against our enemies.. yeah always cool..

But here's what i think that's gonna happen.. they mention something about an empty room and able to visualize that room into a virtual office.. but i'm thinking more like that room would be fully hologram and that we are actually in that game instead of using a TV as a monitor.. we would actually be in it.. of course virtually.. and we could actually see the stuff going on around us in 3D instead of seeing it in a 3D television which is limited to viewing.. but with an empty room.. we can see all the things in 360 degrees..

And there's probably lots more we could start of with that... i mean it's technologies.. the possibilities are always endless..
