Ambient Is Killing Me

Well that's what i get for watching too many CSI.. instead of feeling squimish and sick from the dead body.. doesn't really scare me so much.. well duh.. it's in TV, but can you imagine seeing a real dead body in front of you.. that might actually scare the crap out of me.. knowing that the person is no longer there.. probably gonna smell.. damn i just scared myself..

Anyway.. one of the things that i got from CSI are the music.. damn those people really know how to pick their music.. most of their music are ambient i guess.. i haven't sorted out what ambient really means.. but here's what i got so far.. it's this song.. it's much more than a song.. it kinda makes this great atmosphere from a song.. and there's this wave of sound but you can actually feels that it's moving towards your soul.. you can actually feel something.. you can't relate to it cause there's no words.. but they do make a great sentiment for a feeling.. probably used for relaxing.. but damn these music are incredible.. don't really know lots of ambient bands out there.. but the ones i know are practically great... anyway they are..

-Port Blue.. a side project of Adam young whose also the guy who made Owl City..

-The American Dollar.. got hook the first time i heard it in CSI:Miami.. the song was The Slow Wait Part 1.. the serenading sound of the synth just makes the atmosphere feels weird.. but at the same time.. something there.. that's just touches your heart.. don't know how much of that it true.. then the piano chirping into the little sounds accompanying the synth.. then suddenly the blast of the guitar and the drums..

-Hans Zimmer.. Time.. it's just amazing

-Ratatat.. don't know if they count as ambient.. but they're awesome to listen to..

half an hour to hibernate..
