It Was....Boring

So, this past few days, i've been indulging my self with watching tons of movies, yeah movies, okay once again MOVIES, sometimes i think the only way to get people attention is to capitalized the letters like this HEY!, see i got your attention already, i mean lots of people do it, and i don't really do it, in fact this is probably the first time i've done it and i don't think i did a good job on that.

Anyway, this is the list of movies that i've seen this week.

But long story short, it's all boring, i didn't enjoyed one of em', think i might need to see Nolan movies again, oh yeah, there's one that i haven't seen in a while, it's called The Prestige, maybe i'll see that later.

So here's all you gotta know to save hours of your life from seeing

1.How Do You Know

The only reason i watched this movie is because of the actors, you got Paul Rudd, Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson, plus there's Jack Nicholson. Basically it's a story of boy meets girl, boys fall in love with girls, but here's how it really happened, the girl is like in the middle, she has a boyfriend, but she decides to go on a blind date on a guy who randomly call her, okay first of all, would you agree to such a thing, i mean they could be a criminal, okay maybe i'm getting over my head, cause it's just a movie, anyway, they went out, but the guy was really awkward, plus the girl already has a boyfriend, but her boyfriend have a serious attitude problem which causes her to break the relationship on and off again, it was pretty boring stuff, then actually some drama in the story, the guy dad, not her boyfriend, is actually in trouble for something that he did, but he blame it on his son which is the guy but still not her boyfriend to take the fall to go to jail for three years instead of his dad for 25 to life, yeah but it was nothing big, at the end, he made a deal with his dad saying that he found a solution, he would go to jail if the girl reject him, but he would go to jail if she didn't, but it was confusing, but as you all know all in love stories, the guy gets the girl, so how was that? good enough, okay next movie.

2.Love And Other Drugs

Okay, the only reason i watched this movie is because, firstly there's Anne Hathaway, and secondly, i saw the trailer and i kinda thought that it was kinda like a Korean Movie, if you seen a Korean movie, you know that you're gonna cry, Korean Movies can actually make a grown man cry including me, okay maybe it's not hysterical crying, but still a little tears do come, come on, you can't seriously be soulless person, and i thought i was the most soulless guy in this earth, turns out all i need was a Korean Movie, so if you don't know what Korean Movies are, i mean not all of them, but most of them, it's always gonna make you cry by killing the girl in some sadistic way, or maybe something less crucial than that, but end point, it's a sad movie, anyway that's what i thought this movie was gonna be about, cause in the trailer, it's kinda like the girl (played by Anne Hathaway) had a disease which i could only assume that she's gonna die, but this is no Korean Movie, the thing about American movie is the excessive nudity and cursing, seriously, how could those 2 be important in the element of the movie, i seriously think i could live without watching it, i have to skipped the nudity seen, cause it was inproper, and i think i lost a little respect for Anne Hathaway because of that, come on, you don't see respected actress go nude, okay stop saying nude, i'm making myself uncomfortable, anyway, how it start was the guy lose his job after sleeping with some girl on the job in his work place, then his brother who is actually kinda rude, i wanna say Bastard, but i don't wanna be rude, he kinda give his older brother a job being a Drug Rep, so yeah he worked as a man giving out a sample for clinics, and on one day he met the girl who was being treated by the doctor because she has a Parkinson disease, anyway the story revolves around their love and the guy giving out samples to the clinic and taking his competition down by literally taking their drugs and throwing them in the garbage, suddenly one day he got punched by the guy, lame boring stuff, the end, i can't remember cause i skipped it till the end, i didn't finish watching it, i couldn't bare.

3.Little Fockers

I've actually watched this two times before watching it fully, the other two times was because of bad timing, anyway i watched it fully, but unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the first two movies Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers, so here's how it goes, The guy, mainly i say that cause i don't remember but for this one i do, his name is Greg, he's married with his wife (Who i can't recall) and they have a non identical twins, the story revolves around Greg, actually there's a lot of element on the movie, it doesn't really focus on one, but it's always about Greg getting seen by his Father-in-law Jack caught him doing stuff that looks bad but seriously is just a misunderstanding, funny, erm, not so but it's okay, if you wanna lose 2 hours sure, i recommend it, i can't really elaborate on it, okay next one.

4.Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

I'm not really a Harry Potter fan, but i do like the first four movie witch was The Sorcerer's Stone, The Chamber Of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkabam and The Goblet Of Fire, after that i didn't really watch them anymore, books, didn't even touch it, actually i did but i didn't read it, so the movie, let's get it on. Started as usual, they always back on their home instead of Hogwarts, but, they actually didn't even go to Hogwarts through out the whole movie, because Harry is all grown up and he's on a serious note than before, it's his life depending on it, and all the people are sacrificing their life, actually this is only the first part, there's lots of movie that are divided into two parts right now, actually i can only recall two, one is this and the other one is the upcoming Breaking Dawn, Third actually, the Matrix was also similar by dividing it to two parts but they had a name for each part, Reloaded and Revolutions, because it was released on the same year, i remember watching in on the premier day and at the end of it, people clapped, which is kinda the best part after watching a fantastic movie and everyone praise it by giving it a round of applause which hardly people do anymore, i seriously have to get into a premier movie one of these days.

Anyway, it's really an adventure movie, but then again, all of it was, here's what you have to know, SPOILER ALERT, Harry is not with Hermione in fact she's with Ron, but Harry is some-what in love with Ginny because they kissed, and the Deathly Hallows part was actually near the end of it, most of it was about Harry and the Locket, and Ron running away with envy thinking that Hermione was cheating with Harry but really is not, then after some hours, i really didn't focus on it because i was having a massive head ache, but i could still remember the whole story surprisingly, Harry and Ron made up after Ron saved Harry from the freezing lake, then they go to that house, it was actually Luna father's house? i think, because he have blonde hair which is similar to Luna hair, anyway, they were asking about these symbols they were seeing, it was actually The Deathly Hallows, so the tale goes, The Deathly Hallows was actually a story about three brothers, there's the eldest, second, and youngest, they were on some point that requires them to make a bridge with their magic, but actually they wasn't suppose to make a bridge, they were suppose to die, anyway, they did made the bridge then Death appear, i guess he was pissed because they didn't died, anyway, they things from Death, the eldest asked for the most powerful wand, the second brother asked for a stone that could bring people who had died back to life, and the youngest asked for an invisibility cloak so that he could hide from death, the two older brothers didn't really last long, but death spent all his time searching for the third brother who ironically can't be found because of the cloak thing, but at the end he died and gave the cloak to his son.

Till then the bad guys came and start blowing the house on fire, then there was the other part which i don't really want to elaborate cause i can't remember, anyway the ending was when Voldermort finding the most powerful wand at Dumbledore grave, then he used it causing a massive lightning strike which i have to admit looks really cool. Anyway that's the first part.

127 Minutes

Yep that's just how long it took me to watch the entire movie of 127 hours, ironic isn't it, well minus credits.

127 Hours

Like any movie reviewer would do, they would tell the reader bout the movies, so this is it, i'm trying.

The movie 127 hours was based on a true story from the life of Aron Ralston (My name is kinda similar to him, except i got more A) who lost his arm due to a rock climbing accident, in this movie, Aron Ralston is portrayed by James Franco as the movie is directed by Danny Boyle who also Directed the Academy Award Winning Movie Slumdog Millionaire. The film was based on Aron Ralston biography which is entitled Between A Rock And A Hard Place.

Okay, let's get it on.

So the movie starts kinda strange, it was a random clip of people going really fast, it was actually being fast forward. The story begins when Aron was getting all his equipment for Rock Climbing, filling his bottle from the tap water, and trying to reach his Swiss Army Knives but he can't which eventually he jokes about don't buy stuff that are made in China. Before the event occur, Aron was walking around the rocks and find 2 lost women which he later convinced them that he's a good guide and decide to follow him although with some hesitation, so they arrived at the place which is called Blue John? so they were in the middle, between the rocks against their body and their hands to support them, then suddenly Aron just drops down and at the bottom was actually a Lake, the water was so blue, kinda looks clean, so they took a bath.

After that, Aron went on to his adventures, walking around the rocks, then he stumbles upon a rock which he stands on to see if it could support his weight, seems okay, but then disaster strikes, the rock had befallen onto his hand, leaving him stuck in the bottom of the rocks. He struggles to get rid of the rock from his hand, pushing it against his shoulder, trying to chip the rock bit by bit with his made-in-china swiss army knife. And the story basically starts from there, where he struggles to get out and finally just rest there, there's actually a lot of elements in the story, mostly about his past, his family, his sister, his old girlfriend, and other times he was hallucinating, but at most time, he was documenting being stuck with a rock, and also trying to get rid of the rock with lots of way using his ropes, but still he fails.

Maybe one of the things in the movie that's a little bit interesting is how he tries to survive from his bottle of water, he tries to drink as little as he can by savoring the water in his mouth instead of swallowing it directly, but after his water ran out, he kinda have to use an alternative for water, in other words, his bodily fluids, by that i mean Pee, yeah, he drank his own pee, which is hard to watch, they even made it graphic, the pee would rise to the straw as he suck it.

But shockingly, there was a rainstorm suddenly, which kinda turns into a flood and leaving him a little bit breathless for air but plenty for water as he is dehydrated, as the rain starts dropping he opened his mouth and his bottle trying to catch water, and it kinda seems like he got away with the flood helping him to get loose on the rock and finally going back to his girlfriend, but that was again, a hallucination, so he's stuck back in the rock with no water.

The tipping point of the story was when he's cutting his arm off to be free, at first, his hand was just broke, and he breaks it even more, and getting his knife to cut it, it was bloody, so be warned when you're watching that part, the cutting part wasn't the most gruesome part of all, it would be the part where he cut his veins which he takes a deep breath before pursuing on cutting it, and when he did cut it you just feel chills on your bones, just moment after, he was free, and i was amazed actually and a little bit glad, he got free, but what amazed me was that, after that whole thing, he could still have energy to gather all his thing, and that's not all, he climbed down with his rope to get some water off the pond, which was actually funny, just after he reach the pond, he just dropped to the pond head first, after that he just walks further, and there was this blurry images as he screamed for help, it was people, finally he was saved as they give him water, and a helicopter arrived to bring him to the hospital.

And the story ended telling the aftermath of the whole thing, with his family in front of him, him having a baby.

So yeah, it was a good story, i don't really know how to rate it, but if i knew, think i would give it a 3/5, it was good but it wasn't great, though i can't really say that, cause i didn't went through the gruesome experience, which i hope i wouldn't have to. But i don't really recommend you to watch it, unless you really have time to spare, cause it's not the greatest movie of all time, but it's still okay to watch.

Just finished watching The Travellers wife and all i can say is that it's an amazing movie, yeah the beginning started pretty slow, and you'll feel bored but in the middle things started to make up for it, yeah there were some funny moments, like how he always travel naked, cause he can't bring anything when he's time travelling, yeah and Rachel was amazing, and i just notice that Rachel character's name was also Claire, she was also Claire in The Wedding Crashers if im not
mistaken, yeah but the movie was somehow sad, Claire or the travellers wife tried to get pregnant but always miscarriage, and Henry a.k.a The time traveller,got a vasectomy to avoid having arguments with his wife, but after he told her, one night, she got a called from young henry, and they decided to get passionate, well after few weeks she's pregnant, yeah i thought she was somehow cheating but they're the same people only different moments, yeah but she deliver the baby safe and sound, and turns out the baby was a time traveller to, and she's much better than her father cause she can control it, yeah but the ending was sort of confusing, i thought he died after her daughter birthday, then he was on a wheelchair! i was very suprised, but later on new year, he actually died when he travel, and claire dad was the one killed him, but it was unintentionally, he was hunting and saw a deer and accidentally shot him, yeah he died.
Then the last scene, when his daughter was playing in the meadow, he met his father and decided to ask her friends to call her mother, the claire ran to the meadow, and end up hugging him and kiss him moments later before he disappear, well all i can say that it's was beautiful, sad, interesting and touching. Can't believe im still writing, i have a test tomorrow!! im off to study bye?

Rachel McAdams

Yeah, you might probably know her from movies like The Hot Chick and Mean Girls, and shes an actress, i mean she's not an Oscar winner or an academy winner of any kind but she is awesome, well i only liked her in one movie called The Wedding Crashers, actually i bought the cd but i've never seen it until few years later, i saw it on my cousins portable media player, it's actually a romantic movie, a little bit funny but mostly a movie that can maybe warm your heart? yeah i don't know bout that cause it's not actually a family movie cause there are certain parts that is just not right for the underages, yeah but that scene was just for humour and it did make me laugh, i don't generally like her, in fact i kinda hate her in those two movies, well first she was blond, and second, her attitude was sort of i would say the bad word but i'll just say shes annoying... yeah but then i saw her in The Wedding Crasher and i see the other side of her, the kind, beautiful, caring, gentle and loving one. Yeah it's a good movie you should download it or buy the original DVD i reckon it, she does act in other several movies like The Notebook, The Time Travellers wife and im pretty much sure there are more but i don't know what the title are, well i do hope i'll see her in more movies that is actually good, but now im seeing the Time Travellers wife and so far, it's not entertaining.. but i'll continue watching and next, The
