Over the years, i've done lot's of things, those things aren't big anyway, just little things that makes life a little better like listen to music, spending time with my family, going on vacation, and lots of other stuff.
Not a lot of things to be proud of, mostly just normal things, never done anything that would make my parents proud too, in school, i wasn't a bright student, always fail, rarely even hold a book to study, most of the time i just watch television, then it got cut off which led me to the world of internet which is pretty awesome, here's what i've learned from the internet, okay there's a lot of things i learned, most notable is i teach myself to play guitar, which is seriously hard at first, when you don't know what chords are and how to play a chord, then day by day i get better, the first song i've played on guitar would be Blind by Lifehouse which is my favorite song at that time, then i got into Jack Johnson which is an acoustic guitar player, his songs are pretty awesome, i used to play his song with my cousins when i was younger, hanging at his house playing Upside Down by Jack Johnson.
I've learned alot from my cousins, one of them taught me how to play bass which is pretty awesome, i used to play the bass on one of The Strokes song called Reptilia, and my cousin would play the guitar, well he's awesome cause he can seriously play like the guitarist, My cousin is a really great guitarist honestly, and he didn't even learned fully, he did learned Classical guitar with a tutor, but that was like 2 months, i don't think that's a lot of time to learned something as hard as a guitar but he made it.
My other cousin taught me how to play the piano, but not wholly, she only teach me how to press the key to play a song, i've remember playing Joy to the world on the piano when i was little, but i didn't take piano seriously at that time, just play for fun, but after couple of years, my dad went for a heart surgery, and i was alone at the house, my mom was working so i had nothing to do, then somehow i picked up my old keyboard, it was a Casio, i remembered it was green, it only has like 20 keys or more, from there i take piano a little bit more seriously, after my parent knew that i can play a piano, they actually bought me a keyboard on my birthday, it kinda surprise me cause i wasn't expecting a keyboard but it was awesome, i've learned piano some more, but mostly through song, the keyboard was a Yamaha obviously, there were a lot of songs that i've played on the piano like Look what you've done by Jet, I don't love you by MCR, Love Song by Sara Bareilles and lots more.
Then after a year or so my parents sold the keyboard which was a great loss, cause it was a great
keyboard, but it was a child piano, but i kinda like it cause it has these lights which lights up when you press a key, but most of all it was a birthday gift, so yeah, but they did bought me a new keyboard which is bigger and better, kinda miss playing the keyboard now, lots of songs that i didn't get to play on the piano, bout a year ago, i actually went to learned piano which my parents try to make me go since they bought me a keyboard, but i've never till last year, bought it was a short time to learned the piano, even though i knew a little bit on how to play, but learning the actually thing was harder, mostly on timing, the hardest friggin thing to do, but it was a great experience, but too bad it was short, i can't pursue it anyway cause i got into college which is really far away, and there's no piano teacher here!
All i can think right now is how great it was, and how it used to be, i had a pretty great life but i didn't appreciate it as much as i should, but im doing something better now, i would miss doing those things, but they're not gonna run away, even if i can't play piano professionally, i still can play better than most people i know, and who knows, maybe after college i can go back and learned piano.
